On October 31st, Evergreen's first methanol dual-fuel vessel, the EVER ECO will make its maiden voyage to Tianjin, joining the CES route and contributing to the new direction of environmental development!


The CES route, also known as "Antwerp Express," is a European boutique route meticulously crafted by Evergreen Marine, offering services with short voyages, wide coverage, strong capacity, environmental benefits, excellent service.


The EVER ECO, with its maximum carrying capacity of 16,556 TEU and maximum deadweight of 238,900.3 tons, boasts powerful loading and drainage capabilities. In terms of hull design, the bow features a unique "windshield-style hull design," which has been deeply for the streamline shape of the hull and is paired with the use of anti-fouling paint for the hull with low-resistance characteristics. This not only provides reliable safety the containers at the bow and various equipment on the deck but also significantly reduces the resistance encountered by the vessel during navigation, fully demonstrating the innovative breakthroughs achieved in improving efficiency and ensuring.


Equipped with desulphurization and denitrification treatment devices and using ultra-low sulfur fuel, it can efficiently reduce sulfur oxides (SO? and nitrogen oxides (NO?) in the vessel's exhaust. In addition, the vessel is also equipped with the AMP shore power system, which can directly connect toshore power during port stays, effectively reducing pollution emissions and achieving energy conservation and emission reduction. Moreover, combined with meteorological navigation technology and air lubrication systems, it further improves the of energy use, forming a "reduction energy conservation" dual technological advantage, providing a strong support for the green navigation of the vessel.


From the perspective of benefits, the direct effect of energy-saving design is a significant reduction in carbon emissions. This not only helps reduce carbon dioxide (CO?) emissions but also cuts down on the of sulfur oxides (SO?), nitrogen oxides (NO?), and particulate matter (PM) simultaneously, thereby mitigating the adverse effects on the marine ecological and the air quality of coastal areas.
